How We Serve
Our Mission is You
The Denton County Master Gardener Association (DCMGA) is a volunteer program under the guidance of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. As Master Gardeners, our mission is to educate and engage county residents in the implementation of research-based horticultural and environmental practices that create sustainable gardens, landscapes, and communities.
What We Do
Our Master Gardener volunteers share research-based advice to help you learn about and implement sustainable horticultural practices. We support a wide variety of programs, including annual events, youth and children’s programs, community gardens, landscape design, lectures and presentations, community partnerships, and beautification programs.
Join us at our Plant Sale, Garden Tour, and Fall Into Gardening events to learn from Master Gardeners and grow your best garden ever!
Learn how our Master Gardener volunteers give back to the community in many ways, including community gardens, partnerships, and beautification programs.
Our youth programs “plant the seeds” of the next generation of gardeners and encourage learning about sustainable gardening practices and improving our communities.
Attend one of our presentations and learn research-based gardening tips and tricks from our highly educated Speakers Bureau members.
