Texas Arbor Day at Josey Ranch Pocket Prairie

It is more important than ever to plant trees in our community.  While Arbor Day is observed nationally in April, Texas Arbor Day is held in November when the weather is more favorable for tree planting.  Denton County Master Gardeners will teach individuals how to choose the right tree for the right spot and how to plant and care for it.  There will be fun and engaging activities for people of all ages.  Participants will receive a free tree to take home while supplies last.
