Native Plant Society of Texas is continuing their partnership with H-E-B in promoting the usage of native plants in Texas. NPSOT and Texas Master Gardeners will be volunteering across Texas to help educate customers. DCMGA will provide assistance at two Denton County H-E-B stores two weekends in March to answer customers’ questions about native plants.

What You Will Do as a Volunteer
– Answer basic questions about:
– Native plants being sold
– Pollinators (bees, butterflies)

Water wise, sustainable gardening
– Hand out approved materials:
– H-E-B yellow coupons (2 native plants for $12)
– NPSOT Bookmark TMG Postcard
– Prairie seed mix packets (ecoregion-specific)
