Workday Honoring Bill Moen

We would like to invite all DCMGA members and friends of our long-time gardening colleague, Bill Moen, to join us in honoring his memory by helping tidy his beloved home garden for his Celebration of Life. Bill passed away late last week, and his wife, Monica, hopes the garden he cherished can be refreshed in his honor. Bill contributed significantly to our organization, including leading the redesign of the DCMGA website, which continues to earn praise from other associations. We will gather on Wednesday, December 3, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at 303 Mimosa Dr., Denton—a nice, wide street with plenty of easy parking and located close to the fairgrounds. Please bring your usual garden tools, including rakes and pruners, as we clean walkways, pull weeds, rake leaves, and lightly prune where needed. Many hands make light work, and your presence would be a meaningful way to celebrate Bill and the joy he found in gardening.    This is not for VS; this will be for the love of our friend.
