DESCRIPTION:Native Plant Society of Texas is continuing their partnership with H-E-B in promoting the usage of native plants in Texas. NPSOT and Texas Master Gardeners will be volunteering across Texas to help educate customers. DCMGA will provide assistance at two Denton County H-E-B stores two weekends in March to answer customers’ questions about native plants. \nWhat You Will Do as a Volunteer\n– Answer basic questions about:\n– Native plants being sold\n– Pollinators (bees\, butterflies) \nWater  wise\, sustainable gardening\n– Hand out approved materials:\n– H-E-B yellow coupons (2 native plants for $12)\n– NPSOT Bookmark TMG Postcard\n– Prairie seed mix packets (ecoregion-specific) \nDirect customers to trusted online resources for more help
