DESCRIPTION:The first Meeting date\, February 19\, 2026 will be the Kick-off Meeting for this New Project.  This meeting will be to encourage DCMGA members to participate as either Team Leads or Team Volunteers for this project. \nSubsequent meetings for this project will be the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month from 1:00pm – 3:00pm through October 1\, 2026 for Volunteer Team Members.  These meetings will be a combination of Project Team updates and working in the Doubletree Ranch garden beds to get them ready for the event day. \nVillage Fest is a large-scale educational event designed to deliver a collaborative public outreach experience to Denton County residents. There will be Main stage and small stage Speakers delivering research-based Horticultural and Nature based presentations as well as interactive\, educational booths\, hands-on demonstrations\, and vendor booths to appeal to attendees of all ages. The event is strategically hosted at Doubletree Ranch Park at 310 Highland Village Rd.\, Highland Village\, Texas\, Saturday October 3\, 2026 from 9am – 3pm.\nSet-up day for Members only will be Friday October 2\, 2026 from 9am – 3pm.
