Caring for Monarchs in Your Yard

June 15, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Everyone loves Monarch butterflies, but did you know they are designated a threatened species, meaning action is needed to protect them from going extinct? Loss of habitat along the Monarch migration routes is to blame, and those routes go directly through our area. Let Liz Moyer, Denton County Master Gardener, tell you how to support monarchs by planting the right plants in your yard. It’s not just about the milkweed. Sponsored by the Wise County Horticultural Club.
