They're Hereeeee! DCMGA Hosts 2005 State Conference This Week

More than 500 Master Gardeners from Texas and Oklahoma will be welcomed by DCMGA to the 2005 State Advanced Training Seminar.  The seminar site, The Doral Tesoro Hotel and Golf Club, reports that all rooms reserved for the conference have been booked.

A year and a half of planning and hard work began in December 2003 when DCMGA won approval from the MG State Board of Directors to host the 2005 conference.  Peggy Durrett, Conference Chairman, put together a planning committee that started meeting monthly in 2004; those meeting became semimonthly in 2005. With more than 70 DCMGA volunteers working on the various committees, Peggy and the committee chairmen have put together an exciting conference.
